The Strafford fire department also provides a cadet program,
this is for teenagers who are intested in becoming firefighters, the program lets them attend trainings and calls. You can
become a cadet at the age of 15, a cadet must keep a C average and they also have a 10:00 pm curfew on school nights.
Currently the department has one cadet.
Cadet 1: Kathy Strotheide, Basic firefighter, First Responder.
